Working Class Acupuncture (WCA)
Located in N.E. Portland, WCA is the birthplace of the community acupuncture movement that is helping to change how healthcare is delivered in this country. Founded by Lisa Rohleder and Skip Van Meter, WCA has become the model and driving force behind the more than 34 clinics in 17 states that now practice community based acupuncture.

BAMA is a student owned and operated Aikido dojo here in Bend. Aikido is a non-violent style of Japanese martial arts that promotes peace. Aikido as taught by BAMA’s founder and chief instructor Shannon Reitan is the development of community and connectedness to all things.
